How to start it with God

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.” Psalms 37:5-6 NKJV.   Have you ever had the feeling that your everyday routine is lacking something? That even if everything seems OK, there seems to be a hole that you can’t seem to fill. I have experienced that. And today, I want to talk about how putting God at the beginning and end of every area of your life can make the most common situations into very meaningful ones. Let’s begin when you wake up in the morning. Imagine awakening to a moment of appreciation rather than the sound of an alarm clock. Give thanks to God for this new day and for His mercy. It’s not just another lovely day; rather, it’s a brand-new opportunity that money cannot buy. Give thanks to God at the beginning of each day. You should be grateful to God just for your ability to breathe. “And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. Exo. 33:15 NKJV Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Prov. 3:5-6 NKJV   Another way to start your activities with God is by communicating with Him first. Whether it’s choosing a career path, nurturing relationships, or even mundane tasks, inviting God’s presence enriches the experience and outcomes. The way you choose to execute it can really make a big difference. Involve God in your plans for the day as you get ready. It’s as simple as speaking with a friend. Express your anxieties and your hopes. This doesn’t have to be official or spoken aloud. You can even have a private, sincere discussion with God while taking a shower or preparing breakfast. Continue the conversation when you begin your workday or during your commute. Give your work that you’re all for a greater good. Take a break when things become difficult, or tension begins to build. Remind yourself of your true Employer, God. Now it’s time for lunch. Give your meal a blessing for a moment before you eat. Give credit to those who prepared it and the sources from which it originated. This small act of appreciation can elevate an ordinary meal to the status of a sacrament, strengthening your spiritual bond. Proverbs 3-5-6 advises us to lean not on our understanding but to acknowledge Him in all our ways. This promises divine direction in every facet of life. The stories of those who practice this are telling. They speak of unexpected blessings and miraculous turnarounds, simply because they chose to prioritize divine wisdom over human judgment. Such testimonials not only inspire but also serve as practical examples of how divine guidance can be sought and received daily.   Another method of involving God in your affairs is to always act with love. As the afternoon wears on and you take on more tasks, incorporate small deeds of kindness. Hold a door open, laugh together. Every deed of kindness spreads God’s love to others via you. It gets dark outside, as the day ends, evaluate your day. What was successful? Where else might you let God in more? Here, prayer and meditation can be quite effective techniques for regaining your spiritual focus and alignment. And lastly, let go of the stresses of the day as you get ready for bed. Give them over to God. Have faith in the fact that you are loved, cared for, and directed by God. As you drift off to sleep, say a prayer of thanksgiving as well as for yourself.   Transforming ‘starting it with God’ into a daily habit requires intentionality and discipline. It begins with setting aside specific times for prayer and meditation on the Scriptures. These acts of devotion reinforce our reliance on God and tune our hearts to His frequency. Community plays a crucial role here. Encouraging one another, sharing insights, and celebrating divine interventions strengthen the resolve to continue this sacred practice. As more believers adopt this habit, the collective testimony of God’s guidance and protection will undoubtedly grow stronger.   Put your trust in Him for all your everyday decisions, both large and small decisions —for the pathways you have never trodden as well as the ones you have travelled before. Both large and small things need to involve Him. Believing in God in all areas of your life doesn’t mean making drastic adjustments. It’s about incorporating heavenly presence into your day-to-day activities and transforming mundane tasks into hallowed customs. And when you do this, I promise the most wonderful things start to happen in your life. You are not merely existing; you are existing with grace, with a purpose, and with God.   In conclusion, the call to start all things with God is not just a spiritual suggestion; it’s a strategic approach to living a victorious and purposeful life. It’s about making a daily decision that no matter the challenges ahead, they will be faced with the Divine leading the way. Decide today to make this life-changing choice. Trust Him in all your daily decisions (big and small), not just on the road you have walked before but also on the paths you have never taken. We need to involve Him in a big thing and in a small thing. Let every dawn remind you of the power available when you choose to say, Lord, start this day with me.  Start it with God. Always. Every day. In every decision. Choose to live a life under His guidance and watch how wonderfully He orchestrates every moment. Trust Him, and let your daily journey be a testament to His unending faithfulness. Complete this transformation by making God not just a part of your life, but the start of it every single day. This is not just a practice but a lifestyle of divine guidance, protection, and wisdom. Choose to start each day with Him and witness the profound impact it will have on your life and beyond. Remember, it all

Start it with God

“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart. And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]” Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP. Starting the day or anything you choose to do with God is not just a spiritual exercise; it serves as a protective shield against loss or evils of the day. It is a proactive use of divine power to prevent the moral rot that is so rampant in modern society. As we invite God into our ‘things’, we are fortified against both seen and unseen dangers. Personal stories of believers who escaped potential harm or made ethically sound choices under divine guidance underscore the tangible benefits of this practice. They relate feeling an overwhelming sense of peace and security, knowing they are under the constant watch-care of God. Every day we wake up in the morning we do not know the evil that has been designed to take us down. Some people turn poisonous and unwelcome because they were victims of other people, society, or their surroundings. God acknowledges and understands our sense of evil. Moral evil is possible because God is willing to give us the ability to make our own decisions. Nevertheless, God has always taken action to lessen the toll that suffering and evil exact on people. Furthermore, moral evil is something for which all people are accountable, both individually and collectively. Sometimes our own sins force us to go through pain and evil. At times, the transgressions of others cause us to experience evil and hardships. Sufficient is the evil in each day. This is not mere coincidences but part of the broader moral challenges we face daily. Most of the time the evil catches up with us, it could be because we chose to involve God in the middle or at the end of our journey. However, in the quiet of dawn, before the world stirs, imagine a force capable of guiding your every step, shielding you from the unseen perils of the day. This isn’t fantasy; it’s the profound reality for those who choose to start everything, even each day with God. Envision a life where each decision, each moment is not just yours alone but shared with the Divine, a life where starting it with God isn’t just a phrase, but a transformative lifestyle.   One best decision you can make each day is to start the day with God. By beginning everything with God, we align ourselves with the ultimate source of strength and wisdom, ensuring that our paths are guided by more than mere human insight. Your daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly decisions are best start with God. Everything starts and ends with Him. Choose fellowship with God daily. Make each day or daily decision appears to God that you cannot do anything without Him. Beginning each day with God sets a tone of humility and dependence. It is acknowledging that we are not the masters of our fate but are constantly under the watchful eyes of a higher power. That marriage planning, that career journey, even your new day, week, month, or year, start it with God. “Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here” Exo. 33:15 NKJV Moses himself declares he will not move without God’s presence. This scripture encapsulates the essence of starting our days or plans, and indeed our lives, with God.  The above statement indicates the voice of someone who will never decide before involving God. Who will clearly not start anything without God’s permission and cannot finish anything without His approval. The good news for you, especially if you are about to embark on a project, is that you have a God Who is the Alpha and Omega.   This world was created by God, and He alone will bring it to an end. Put it another way, since He oversees everything in this world, you will live a better life if you follow Him and allow Him to be your guide throughout your life. After all, He is the one in charge. God is aware of future events before they occur. He is aware of hazardous zones and the hidden locations of your blessings.    You must decide to start it all with God. Giving God the first priorities of your life will always remind you to start things with God. It teaches us to lay down our plans at His feet and seek His wisdom for the hours ahead. The spiritual benefits are profound, ranging from enhanced discernment to increased peace, laying a fortified foundation for the day’s challenges. It also means whenever I wake up in the morning or I need to decide what to do, I need to say God I will not do this today unless you start it with me. Starting it with God guarantees you that even if it goes wrong, you can be sure He will not live you messed.   It’s a mistake that you and I make all the times when we choose not to invite God in our daily experiences, or we choose to involve Him when the road begins to get crooked. Oh, am I going to put my faith in my own wisdom, in my own power and resources? Or am I going to trust God to do the battle for me and trust in His power to take me through the journey? You need to know that God wants to go before you and with you in the battle of life.  Incorporating God into daily decision-making transforms ordinary moments into divine appointments. You can experience His presence not just in your everyday life but also in your every moment. You will go through deep waters in your life, but one thing is certain when you go into the water with God you will not drown. You will go through storms in the
